Synopsis: FOOTLOOSE is a high-energy dance musical adapted from the iconic 1984 film. It follows Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago who moves to a conservative, small town where dancing and rock music have been outlawed by the local minister. The musical traces Ren’s journey as he rallies his fellow teenagers, challenges the town's restrictive laws, and inadvertently helps the community heal from a tragic accident. To the rockin' rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated Top 40 score, augmented with new dynamic songs, FOOTLOOSE celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people while guiding them with a warm heart and open mind.
